Dietary trends in herbivores from the Shungura Formation, southwestern Ethiopia

Lab member Enqu Negash just published two major papers in PNAS on hominin and mammal enamel isotopes in the Shungura Formation. Along with her coauthors including Zeray Alemseged, Jonathan Wynn, Matt Sponheimer, René Bobe, and Fred Grine, Enqu’s contribution is a major step forward in understanding the dietary adaptations of the mammals of the Shungura Formation between 3 - 2 Ma.
